JOIN FOR AN INSTRUCTOR LEAD OUTING INTO THE ROYAL DOCKS, LONDON
Join us for an instructor lead outing into the Royal Docks. Learn the basics, build your confidence and enjoy being on the water in a social setting. A great way to see London from a different perspective, our “intro to paddlboarding class” is aimed at complete beginners and will have you standing up and paddling in no time. Leave your worries and stresses behind and take to the sheltered waters of London’s Royal Docks. You may even forget you are in London!
You will be give a short dry land introduction to showcase the equipment and the basics of how to use it. Then we’ll be heading out on the water for a tour around the Royal Victoria Dock, before heading back to the beach bar for “apres” refreshments!

Excludes
- Swimwear and towels, so be sure to bring your own!
- Shoes. It’s best to bring a pair you don’t mind getting wet.
- BSUPA R2R card.

- We do not have any parking for vehicles at our site. Dockside vehicle access is not permitted, so we advise coming by public transport or finding parking via the Parkopedia app.
- Please aim to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your session’s advertised start time. Check in procedure, equipment hire, changing into wetsuits and dry land introduction speech will take place prior to your water time. Late comers can not be accommodated in the session so please ensure you arrive well in advance to ensure you don’t miss out.
- You will receive a link to your waiver in your booking confirmation email. Please ensure you have completed this before arriving to your session.

Cancellation
You may cancel your session at any time, however cancellation within the 36-hour period before your session starts or non-attendance will result in a 100% loss of your session cost. All cancellation or rescheduling requests must be emailed to us at “[email protected]”. Outside of the 36-hour period before your session starts the cost of your session will be reimbursed as a voucher for use within the same season that it was purchased, on our Online Booking System. We reserve the right, at our own discretion, to reattribute any lost session fees incurred through late cancellation or non-attendance. Please note, no monetary refunds can be offered for cancelled or rescheduled sessions. Vouchers are only valid for use until the end of each summer season, ending end of October.
Postponement
Sessions can be postponed or cancelled at any time by WakeUp Docklands if adverse weather, dangerous or unsafe conditions, or any other circumstance beyond our control. In such an instance, alternative sessions will be offered or the session fee can be attributed via a voucher which will be valid for use during the same season within which the booking was made, for use on our Online Booking Service. Vouchers are only valid for use until the end of each summer season, ending end of October.
