How to book wakeboarding
Which experience is right for me?
The beginner and intermediate wakeboard experience takes place on our “blue cable” which has no obstacles and is where we will teach you the basics of the sport.
The intermediate and advanced freestyle wakeboard experience takes place on our “gold cable” and is aimed at riders looking to utilise our freestyle obstacles. Please only select this cable if you have hit obstacles before or can corner consistently on a straight-line cable. When progressing from our blue cable, your instructor will advise when you can progress to the gold cable.
Please be sure to book the correct cable. We cannot accept beginner riders booking on the advanced cable for safety reasons. In such instances, sessions will be forfeited with no refunds offered.
The minimum age for wakeboarding is 12 years old.
timetable
Select a date and time that suits you. All sessions start on the hour and can have a maximum of 4 people per hour. Please arrive 30 minutes before your chosen hour.
equipment rental
If you book on our beginner cable, all equipment is provided within the price of the booking. No extra equipment hire is needed.
Advanced freestyle bookings on our “gold cable” are subject to equipment hire if you wish to ride on our obstacles. Please add this at checkout if you don’t have your own gear <NB: no fins are allowed on boards on our obstacles, so please remove these before riding>
Hydrofoil
To book hydrofoiling, you must book a double session (two slots back to back) on the beginner (Blue) cable and select the hydrofoil from the rental options on just one of the slots. This is for experienced riders only.
booking for multiple people
Groups of up to 15 people should be booked via our website. For groups over 15 people: Please contact us using the webform on the “contact us” page of our website to request availability.
PUNCH CARDS
Discounted ‘punch card’ packs are available via our booking site. The larger the pack the greater the discount, with all pack sizes you also gain discounted equipment rental.
Please note: These packs are intended for individual use only, if you wish to book a friend using your pack then a £5 surcharge is payable.
Punch cards expire at the end of October each year and are nonrefundable purchase items. Unused punch card tokens cannot be used after the end of October and are not redeemable in subsequent years, so don’t buy more than you think you’ll use! (please read our T’s & C’s for more info on punch cards)
Cancellations
We aim to be as flexible as possible when accommodating changes to bookings, but as per our T&C’s, we can only change or cancel reservations made to us 36 hours before the start of your session. To do this please email us at info@wakeupdocklands.com with details of the session you wish to cancel. Reschedule requests can also be made over email if received before 36 hours of the start of your session. Change requests made after this time will not be possible. We do not offer monetary refunds.
